Bowditch Point is at the far north end of Fort Myers Beach, this section of beach being in a park like setting, here you will find, Restrooms , Snack bar and outside BBQ grills.

Metered Car parking is to the far rear of the buildings, from here you can walk round the end of the Island from the Gulf to the Back Bay. This is a nice spot to watch the sun setting over Sanibel Island and Causeway.

To the left is a section of the pedestrianised “Times Square” area where you will find eating places with outside dining and small tourist type shops, together with performing street artists.
From here you will be able to stroll along the Fishing Pier.
Metered car parking is available as well as public restrooms and a small childrens play area.

View from Sky Bridge coming on to Island from north end, at the foot of the bridge on your right will be “Times Square”.
Bottom left are the shrimp boats anchored at San Carlos Island, to the right is bayside of Fort Myers Beach.
